Performance medicine lived in one office. Aesthetics somewhere else entirely - usually a med spa that leaned on volume and trend rather than evidence. We brought them together under one physician and one philosophy.
The name comes from physiologic reserve - the body's capacity to heal, adapt, and perform beyond its baseline. Protecting and extending that reserve is the through-line of everything we do, whether we're treating a joint or refining the way you look.
What makes the practice unusual isn't a single treatment. It's the standard. Every therapy is vetted to be best in class. Nothing is offered that doesn't move the needle. And because depth takes time, we keep the panel small - by design.

Ryan McCarty, MD
Ryan McCarty, MD is a double board-certified physician in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident, and his fellowship at UCLA, where he remains on faculty at the David Geffen School of Medicine.
His clinical background spans interventional spine, ultrasound-guided regenerative medicine, hormone optimization, and aesthetic medicine. He currently trains UCLA residents and fellows in interventional spine procedures and applies this same precision to performance medicine and aesthetics.
He founded Reserve Medicine based on the concept of physiologic reserve - the body's capacity to heal, adapt, and perform beyond its baseline. As a physician, he holds the highest standard for every treatment. Each is vetted to be the best in its class, and nothing is offered that doesn't truly move the needle.

Brittany S., RN, BN, PHN
AESTHETICS DIRECTOR
Brittany, BSN, RN, PHN, is a Registered Nurse with more than nine years of clinical nursing experience and extensive expertise in medical aesthetics. She began her career in dermatology before transitioning into the plastic surgery field, where she currently works as an Aesthetic RN in Beverly Hills. There, she has expanded her expertise in advanced aesthetic procedures while refining her skills in both surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
For the past three years, Brittany has also served as a Clinical Trainer for a leading aesthetic medical device company, traveling throughout the United States to educate physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses on advanced aesthetic technologies, treatment protocols, patient safety, and clinical best practices. Her passion lies in helping providers and patients build confidence while delivering safe, effective, and natural-looking results.
